Effective problem solving under stress is an important aspect of self defense. These courses teach the critical tactics necessary to observe, orient, decide, act. Typically low round counts with a strong emphasis on position, movement, and awareness.
Handgun
Defensive Handgun: Shooting Around Vehicles
The Shooting Around Vehicles (SAV) course is designed to provide shooters with the opportunity to develop their skills with moving and shooting around motor vehicles. The course will cover topics such as: shooting inside of vehicles, shooting outside of vehicles, movement around vehicles, and unconventional shooting positions. This is an intermediate level course with a limited class size.
Defensive Handgun: Low Light
The Low Light Handgun course is designed to provide each student with the core skills needed to properly use a handgun in a safe and effective manner during low light defensive situations. The course curriculum covers the following topics: principles of low light operations, handheld lighting techniques, and extensive shooting drills at various distances in low light conditions.
Home Defense / Indoor Tactics: Handgun
The Home Defense/Indoor Tactics: Handgun course is a 2 day, intense intermediate level program designed to provide students with a through understanding of the principles and the skills required to successfully defend their residence while using a handgun in the event of a home invasion or occupied burglary. Material to be covered in this course includes: defensive one person clears, proper use of angles, shoot/no-shoot decision making, “crime-proofing” your residence, “safe room” concept, interacting with arriving law enforcement, and much more.
Simple Shoot House - Handgun
The Simple Shoot House – Handgun course is a 2 day tactics-based class that is designed to teach students the fundamental principles needed to safely work alone in a fully ballistic shoot house with a handgun. These skills translate to the real world use in home defense, active shooter, and other violent situations that happen inside of a building. Skills that will be worked on during the course include: use of angles, visual clearing techniques, and shoot/no shoot decision making. This class isn’t designed to make a you a better shooter; instead it is designed to make you a better problem solver.
This course mandates the use of body armor capable of stopping service caliber handgun projectiles (9mm, .40, .45, etc). If you lack access to armor, contact us to set up the use of loaner armor.
Low Light Shoot House - Handgun
The Lowlight Shoot House – Handgun course is a 2 day tactics-based class that is designed to teach students the fundamental principles needed to safely work alone in a fully ballistic shoot house with a handgun during periods of reduced illumination. These skills translate to the real world use in home defense, active shooter, and other violent situations that happen inside of a building. Skills that will be worked on during the course include: use of angles, proper use of white light, visual clearing techniques, and shoot/no shoot decision making. This class isn’t designed to make a you a better shooter; instead it is designed to make you a better problem solver.

Two-Man Shoot House
The 2 Man Shoot House course is a 2 day tactics-based class that is designed to teach students the fundamental principles needed to safely work in a partner inside a fully ballistic shoot house with a carbine/rifle. These skills translate to the real world use in home defense, active shooter, and other violent situations that happen inside of a structure. Skills that will be worked on during the course include: use of angles, visual clearing techniques, room entry methods, verbal/non verbal communication, and shoot/no shoot decision making. This class isn’t designed to make a you a better shooter; instead it is designed to make you a better problem solver.
